What It Is

Cymatics is the study of visible sound. It is the science of how vibration organises matter into geometry.

It is one of the most observable directly reproducible and least taught sciences on Earth.

The basic experiment:

  • Take a metal plate
  • Cover it with sand salt or water
  • Run a frequency through it
  • The matter organises itself into precise geometric patterns
  • Change the frequency — the geometry changes instantly
  • Turn off the frequency — the pattern collapses

This is not a trick. It is not a special effect. It is repeatable documentable and real. verified

Hans Jenny — a Swiss doctor and natural scientist — coined the term Cymatics in 1967 and spent years documenting these patterns photographically and on film. His two-volume work Cymatics remains the foundational documentation of the field.

Modern high-speed cameras have extended and confirmed his work. The patterns are more precise and more extraordinary than Jenny’s equipment could fully capture.
